Stars are point objects with any magnification. Use low power for a wider field of view. Use higher power for a narrow field of view. Some stars, like Polaris, Castor, and Rigel, are double stars. Higher power may be needed to "split" these stars. You need 100x, i think for Polaris and Rigel. Castor is easier, as i recall. H25mm sounds like .936 eyepieces, typically on a cheaper scope, like a 50 mm or 60 mm refractor. Chances are, the 4 mm eyepiece is way overpowered for this unit, and the barlow has no use of any kind. But if you want to experiment with the barlow, you may find that it doesn't work at all with the diagonal, and must be used straight through. This can be challenging for objects high in the sky. So, again, always start with your lowest power (longest eyepiece number) and move up to high power (lowest eyepiece number). Magnification is the focal length of the scope (a number like 600 mm) divided by the eyepiece focal length (a number like 25 mm). 600 / 25 = 24x.
The best resource for stuff to see in the sky, starting out is skymaps.com.
Page two has lists of objects to look for. Go with easy ones first (naked eye). Advance down the list. The Moon is always easy, if it's in the sky. And, it supports high power, and potentially great views – especially near the day/night terminator, where shadows are long. Currently, Venus is in the southwest just after sunset. It's incredibly bright. See if you can make out the crescent phase. It's like a mini-moon.

What's the mirror been taken from? If it was figured for a SCT it'll be spherical – you need a parabola. It can be refigured, so it's not useless.

She was a school teacher who fell in love with a coloured man, Sam, who she was caught kissing, much to the anger of the man who loved her but she didnt like, he caught them and Sam was hung as it was illegal for him to kiss her, the man who hung him then asked Kate for a kiss she refused. Later he became her first victim she killed him then gave him the kiss he asked for.
Im not sure th dates of birth and death, but she became an outlaw famous for kissing her victims , not sure th exact number.
The one person she did not kill was Stanley Yelnats.
She died laughing as she allowed a lizard to bite her, because she was tired of life without her love, plus she knew if she died then no one would know where she had hidden her treasure.
Solid tune from Omni Trio! Thanks for posting!
Persistance & determination alone are omni potent.
I would rather sit in the Omni club, I think the omni club is more expensive though.
You can. But I don't understand why you would want to do that. If your looking for a push-to system, for the same money, you can get a good sized dobsonian.
If your looking to use the system without having the GPS do all the setup, thats fine too. But again, there are other systems out there that don't have GPS. You just push the direction buttons do it the old fashion way. Its an expensive way to do it, but it is your money.
