so cool
the macro lens is supposed to give you dedicated macro from 180 to 300 but it is poor quality, I bought one cause it was cheap, you get what you pay for. If you want quality you have to pay for it. Canon have a couple of lenses you should look at. the new 18-200 usm or the 70-300 is usm do lens. Sigma also have an 18-200 lens that is quite good, it also means you only need one lens for general shooting. check the websites for spec & prices
RT Fact: The Hubble telescope is so powerful that it is like pointing a beam of light at a dime that is two hundred miles away.
'Up'.
The curved nature of space means that it dos not have a definable centre, and therefore if you observe radiation from a distance of about 14 billion light years in any direction, you will observe the origin of the universe. Of course it will be red-shifted well out of the visible spectrum.
does it come with a carry bag?..lol

Just a regular digital camera in macro mode works well on bugs and plants. I used to have some obsession with taking close ups of bugs

iphone telephoto lens #fb
It does if you use a Sony or Pentax camera.
I”ve been shooting some architectural from the Circle Line boat in New York Citi. I got some good results with a standard zoom telephoto lens, meaning 70-200 type lens. The pictures were taken also across the water.

-iphone has camera, ipod doesn't
-iphone heavier than ipod
-ipod a little wider and more thin than iphone.
-iphone and ipod is same when related to wifi connection (its free)
but when ipod could not connect to internet when no wifi, iphone can do it using network data(so they have to pay it)
-ipod doesn't have onboard mic, but you can outcome it using iphone earphone to add mic in itouch(around $25) this is useful if you using skype in you ipod touch.
-iphone have less time battery life (since iphone use it to connect gsm network)
-iphone has gps, ipod doesn't

How about a fairly decent SLR, with a pro photog behind the lens.
Professional quality comes from experience, not gadgets.

This is my second year with astronomy as a hobby. I have bought four scopes in two years. Since there is no easy answer for your question I hope my experience with my scopes can help you along.
William Optics Megrez 90 Apo refractor & Vixen Porta mount
Skywatcher 8" Reflector & HEQ 5 Pro mount w/Goto
Skywatcher pro 150mm Mak/cass
Helios Startravel 80mm ( Guide scope for astro photo)
The Skywatcher 150mm mak/cass is the least used of my telescopes. It does not work well with photography, and is only usefull for the planets and luna. Since the planets are not well placed most of the time (with saturn as the exception), I have now named this scope the saturn & moon scope. Not very usefull.
I love my megrez 90 and do photography through it and take it along on trips. I would not consider owning this as my only scope. It simply doesn't have the aperture to make deep sky observation joyfull from light polluted areas. I have seen M51, M81/82 & The leo triplet galaxies through it from a dark sky location though.
I use my 8" reflector for imaging on not so windy nights, and for visual use from my house. I havn't travelled with it yet due to the size and weight of the HEQ5 PRO Mount & 8" tube.
A reflector, as many suggest is the best "bang for the buck". If you are into visual astronomy, I'd pick up a reflector on a dobsonian mount. I'm considering the Skywatcher 12" dobsonian myself. I can't see how anything could beat it if you'd like to look at stuff.
A well collimated reflector/dobsonian is also excellent for planetary and lunar observations.
Take a look at this review;
Good luck!

Just found the Orion Nebula for the first time with a telescope. Amazing.
Which brings me back to my original point. Science is a method for studying the objective. It is a short coming of human existence that we can only communicate our knowledge in the subjective. Why should a child learn from the subjective when the objective is right outside their window? Learn from the objective, reference with the subjective. That is how I will raise my child. Your child, your choice.
i don't know what kind but i know how much they cost from $200-300 or more it depends where you get it
too bad this new wave version of Yes didn’t last very long.

Space — the final frontier, and all that jazz. As the folk over at the Hubble Telescope website say, “Your body may be trapped at your desk, but your imagination can roam the far reaches of the universe, thanks to the wonders of the web.” Here’s a spaced-out selection of sites and social media resources that will have you reading the thoughts of astronauts, taking a virtual tour of the International Space Station, and viewing galaxies far, far away. Get your space geek fix below, and, as always, please do share any resources we’ve overlooked in the comments box. 1. Mission Control: Space Agencies on the Web There’s a ton of space agencies around the globe, together boasting an estimated $44 billion annual budget to find out more about space. While capabilities vary dramatically from country to country (not all have basic launch capability, let alone manned spaceflight, and the only two with lunar landing capability are NASA and the Russia’s CCCP), most are doing interesting work that…
