Here I do my take on what the power (x) rating of telescopes and binoculars intuitively means.
Here is another ex.
If you are deciding on getting 16X or 25X binoculars. The square-root of 16 is ...

Very informative video, well presented.Francis J. O’Reilly
will a telescope that magnifies 300 times see saturn
That’s an interesting question. The “power” of a telescope is actually referring to magnification. The other aspect that should be considered is the resolution. You will see Saturn, what you see depends on how well the telescope resolves the image.Good luckFrancis J. O’Reilly
good and informative video/lesson.
The drinking age was state right until the prohibitionist group, MADD, lobbied enough to "force" it on the states. The federal government withholds 10% of states highway funds unless they make the purchase age 21. They do it that way so it doesn't violate the 10th amendment, if they forced them to with a law then it is unconstitutional. If a state wanted to though they could not receive their funds and make it any age they want which is what the territory of puerto rico did.
The federal government is gaining more power over the states every day it seems, I don't think that the 10th amendment is even that powerful anymore, maybe it would be if we had judges on the supreme court that followed the constitution not their personal beliefs.
A few states recently threw up the idea of secession (Texas) and talked about how states have no rights anymore.

Input 12v 20 amp (fused)
Volt meter, Ampmeter (so I can see what’s being sucked through.
3 main lighter socket outs
1 lighter socket for light (top)
2 x 1 am PWM controls and outputs for heaters or dimable lights.
Each circuit is swithed and fused
I’d still rather let my computer do it; too bad they don’t have a BOINC app
Feel like im in a scary movie, the power went out, its raining and is cold. Oh yah im all alone in the dark…eeeep :s
"42" is right, Especially if you live in Arizona. I have talked to many electricians and have worked in the CE industry for years. There is "snake-oil" out there but everyone of them I have talked to always recommend power conditioning. You should check out the Panasonic Pepsi taste they had done with two plasmas. both left on for X amount of hours one with and one without a power conditioner. Some interesting results. Is it snake oil again? You tell me.
P.S. "Yeah, don't buy Monster"
You can quote me on that
i totally get what you’re saying, but that’s because friendfeed has always seemed like this to me. i’m lucky to get a comment on anything i post to my feed, and i don’t always have time to comment on other people’s posts during work hours so i’m mostly a consumer of friendfeed. one thing that i’ve alway done to keep my friendfeed clipping along is to add groups (at first it was imaginary friends, which are still around and i create new ones every once in a while). for instance i recently created the nsfwshow group and seeded it with the site’s rss feed and various twitter feeds related to the podcast. i made one for dvorak who did the job of aggregating all of his stuff for me so i only have to pull in one channeldvorak feed, and the list of possibilities with groups is almost limitless
“The real measure of a telescope’s power is not how greatly it can magnify a distant object, but what portion of that object’s light the instrument actually collects.
It’s easy if you think of the photons, or light particles, as raindrops, and the telescope as a bucket. The larger your bucket is, the more rain you will collect. Similarly, a telescope’s “light gathering power” is a measure of how efficiently it collects photons, and this power depends on the diameter or “aperture” of the lens, or mirror.
For over a century, astronomers have raced to build telescopes with larger and larger apertures precisely so that they could gather more of the heavens’ light. In essence, a large lens or mirror allows scientists to look deeper into space and see fainter objects. An early example of this thirst for photons is the Leviathan of Parsonstown, a six-foot-diameter telescope built in the 1840s by William Parsons, the third Earl of Rosse.”
i wanna telescope now i wanna go fiu
god i love the intro!! nice vid too.
MTX THUNDER 500W D class MONO amp will have more than enough power. & they use less power to run them RMS
without a doubt a awesome performance and the best dj out there!!!!!
